KYU GRADE GRADING + ALL GRADE TRAINING SESSION 20/06/2010
PRE GRADING LESSON 14.00 - 15.30 AT EGHAM SPORTS CENTRE
GRADING 15.45 ONWARDS
Please ensure that if you are grading that you bring your red grading book complete with current
KUGB licence and that you allow at least half an hour to register before the lesson start time.
If you pay monthly in advance by standing order you will pay a subsidised training/grading fee.
Grading checklist: Licence, Gi, change of clothes/overgi, small snack + non-fizzy drink, money.
As per normal training, will the parent/guardians of all juniors please ensure that their children
have been to the toilet before the lesson and before the grading!
The lesson before the grading is typically 1.5 hours long and the grading itself is generally up to 3 hours.
I will endeavour to persuade Sensei to grade the lower grades first and get them away as soon as possible.
Unless otherwise stated the pre-grading lesson will start at 14.00 and finish at 15.30 and will be held at Egham Sports Centre.
All students whether grading or not are expected to attend this training session as Sensei has
the uncanny knack of remembering non attendees at future gradings!
Lastly, if the grading falls on a Sunday, normal training times are suspended for this day.
If you have any questions about this note, please don't hesitate in contacting me.
Yours in Budo, Sensei Austin.

Egham Karate Club Raises money for Charity
Congtratulations to everyone that took part and sponsored the Karate'athon. Our initial target was £1000 and to start with, it seemed a bit daunting. The event however was extremely well supported. A VERY BIG thankyou to all the people that sponsored and supported this event, especially Sensei Blyth Baker whom without his help this event would not have been possible.
Congratulations to Sensei Blyth Baker who passed his 3rd Dan Black Belt
